Victorian Spindle 41mm
This spindle is somewhat of a luxury here at Mrstairs! It boasts a design that has a simple, light curvature detail, interrupted by a wooden block in the middle. This spindle is normally used for staircases wanting a more aesthetic.
The Victorian spindle, as curvaceous as it is, has several folds/lines as well as the unique wooden cube in the middle that differentiates it from other turned spindles like the Colonial/Edwardian Spindle. It also has enough patterns to catch the eye more than rather simplistic variants, the Chamfered Spindle, the Blank Spindle or the Square Twist Spindle. Therefore, it tends to be more expensive but it does add a classy aesthetic to any traditional staircase. The Tulip design on these spindles boasts an extra layer of glamour to its elegant and classic style.

The tulip spindle has a naturally beautiful look. However, it can be customised by finishing, staining or varnishing to suit the individual’s needs.
