The Square Twist Spindle is a beautiful adaptation to our most simplistic baluster, the Blank Spindle. The plain style of the spindle is deliberately basic but with a twisted centre, giving a deceivingly curvy aesthetic despite the spindle containing no curves at all! The top block is 200mm the middle twisted section is 500mm and the bottom block is 200mm. These Spindles often pair well with Square Newel Posts, or Stop Chamfered Newel posts, and much more!
We offer this spindle in the sizes of 41 x 41 x 900mm, 41 x 41 x 1100mm. You should use the 900mm spindles on closed-string staircases or landing areas. The 1100mm spindles are for usage on cut-string staircases where there would be one 900mm spindle and one 1100mm spindle per tread. The longer length spindles can also come in handy for commercial landing areas to comply with building regulations.
