The Acorn post cap. Its unique style is in the name as it takes the shape of an acorn. This style of Newel cap is compatible with all 90x90mm newels. It is suitable for all 90x90mm solid and engineered oak or pine newel posts that we offer.
The unique square-turned design brings a more modern and contemporary feel as opposed to the simplistic Flat Cap or the lightly adapted Pyramid Cap.
The newel cap is easy to install using wood adhesive & it is suitable for all domestic & commercial applications. The newel cap has a peg, which fits into a newel post, so in this sense, the Acorn newel cap heavily differs from the Pyramid or Flat Cap. The length of the newel post is a fixed length! Please consider the length of the Newel Base if you order to collect this item because it may not fit into your vehicle! We recommend a Sprinter van to ensure enough space for the base to fit.
As with most of our stair parts, our Newel post caps are supplied unfinished. That means it is down to you to add your own stain/wax or oil finish.
