It is easy to install using wood adhesive & it is suitable for all domestic & commercial applications. The newel base will be connected to the post which will have a peg. The length of the newel post is a fixed length! Please consider the length of the Newel Base if you order to collect this item because it may not fit into your vehicle! We recommend a Sprinter van to ensure enough space for the base to fit.

Newel posts such as square posts & Chamfered Posts don’t need newel bases as they are complete newel posts which fit onto the string of the staircase or a joist! The plain style of the post is deliberately simplistic, giving more attention to other aspects of your staircase like the spindle design or the newel cap aesthetic. Available now in pine or oak!
