The Beaufort Metal Spindle has a Black Finish and offers a ‘triple bead’ design in the middle of the baluster
How to go about Installing The Richard Burbidge Beaufort Metal Spindle:
- Installing the Beaufort Metal Baluster will need a handrail and baserail with a 13mm groove.
- Installing Beaufort Metal Balusters is best with a bracket.
- If you decide on buying a grooved handrail and baserail, you must do the following:
- Ensure the handrail and base rails come with a 13mm infill, and fit them into the groove like you would with wooden spindles.
- Buying rake brackets to aid installation means you will need an ungrooved handrail and baserail
- Purchase either rake brackets (MBRPB) or landing brackets (MBLPB) alongside the spindles depending on what you require.
- (Buying this baluster will NOT include Brackets, so please purchase those separately).
The Richard Burbidge Black Metal spindles are Available in 6 different designs.
The manufacturing of the Beaufort Metal Spindle consists of a robust 1.3mm mild steel box section. The manufacturers have coated the spindle with zinc phosphate, protecting it against corrosion. Finally, the coating is doubled with a black powder and a hammered finish.
If you will use this baluster for landings, that’s fine! Make sure you’ve bought the correct handrails and base rails & they are secured in place with adhesive.
